With 7+ years of full-stack development experience, I've evolved from a curious computer science graduate into a senior developer who owns work across the full software lifecycle. My journey spans from building WordPress sites to architecting scalable Ruby on Rails backends, crafting intuitive React web applications, developing cross-platform React Native mobile apps, and supporting the infrastructure those systems depend on.
I specialize in healthcare and research applications, building RESTful and GraphQL APIs that power web and mobile clients, interactive patient-facing decision aids, and offline-first mobile apps for clinical settings. Across 7+ years, I've engineered, owned, or contributed to 11+ shipped products: multi-year clinical-research platforms (100-500 enrolled participants and 50-100 clinicians per study), a Canada-wide industrial mobile app, and a Ruby clinical-laboratory pipeline processing 500-800 patient reports per batch. My work often extends beyond implementation into production readiness, deployment environments, server and database setup, DNS and Cloudflare support, QA, security maintenance, post-launch fixes, and mentoring teammates through complex delivery work.
